What is Linen Fiber?

Definition

Linen is a cellulosic fiber derived from the stem of the flax plant or fabric made from these fibers. Linen fibers are much stronger and more lustrous than cotton; they yield cool, absorbent fabrics that wrinkle easily. Because of these properties, linen is comfortable to wear in hot weather.
