Merchandise

Merchandise refers to any type of goods, including personal or commercial products, as well as commodities that are sold to members of the public (retail) or other businesses (wholesale).

Merchandising

The word merchandising came from merchant. The work of merchandiser is to buy and sell. So, merchandising is the process to buy & sell products in reasonable profits, i.e. merchandising means trading.

Merchandising means to arrange all the required raw materials and make the goods ready to sell them to customers.

Merchandiser

Actually a merchandiser is responsible for almost everything from order analysis to shipment and finally payment realization. Garment merchandiser is like a bridge between the buyer and industry.

The person who deals with trade is called merchandiser  

Merchandiser should have technically sound having clear concept about-

  1. Textile fiber, yarn & fabrics
  2. Dyeing, printing & embroidery and finishing
  3. Garments manufacturing, washing & dyeing
  4. Garments & others testing
